Decorating the Memorial Christmas Tree at Princess Pavilions

December 2025 - members of the Companionship Cafe gathered at the Princess Pavilions for a truly uplifting and memorable morning as we decorated our memorial Christmas tree for the annual Christmas Tree Festival.

This annual community event was not just about adorning a tree; it was an opportunity for remembrance, connection, and joy.

When we came together, laughter filled the air as friends and families helped each other place heartfelt memories on the tree. Each ornament represented not just a decoration, but a cherished memory, turning the tree into a vibrant reminder of love and remembrance

As the decorations were hung, the tree truly came to life, illuminated by the spirit of those we were honoring. It felt as though a light had been turned on from within, capturing the essence of connection among us.

The switching on of the tree lights was an event filled with magic and warmth. It was heartwarming to see so many people come together to celebrate this moment, highlighting the significance of remembrance during the festive season.

Decorating the memorial Christmas tree became not only a tribute to those we’ve lost but also a celebration of the love that binds us. We are grateful for everyone who joined us for this special day and for everyone who has added to our Christmas Tree of Remembrance – and we look forward to continuing this tradition of honouring memories and cultivating connection in our community.

Thank you for being a part of this beautiful experience. And thank you for the invitation to join this beautiful community event!
