In July, our Compassionate Cafe embraced a truly heartfelt session as participants gathered to create grief wreaths, guided by the talented Skylark Doula, Heidi Westbrook.

In July, the Companionship Cafe team members had the uplifting experience of harvesting seasonal foliage in order to create beautiful grief wreaths at the grief cafe for all our friends….

At the end of June 2025, we had the pleasure of hosting a beautiful afternoon at the Companionship Café, focused on “Stitching with Intention.” Led by the talented artist Susie Chaikin, this event created a meaningful and calming space for those navigating the complexities of grief.

NODAC won the ‘best presented & most informative stand’ at the care & share event in Jun 2025 held by the Admiral Nurses at Royal Cornwall Hospital trust.

Friends of the Companionship Cafe crafted shrines, adorned with angels & engaged in meaningful conversations – supported by cups of hot drinks and delicious homemade cakes.
