TLC in the NHS and Care Homes - What People Say

No One Dies Alone Cornwall offers this training to Clinicians in the NHS as well as support staff in Care homes. Here is a flavour of the outstanding feedback we have been delighted to receive.

This is a lovely training very person centred approaches to end of life care. Alternative to the medical model which helps to comfort, care & reassure the needs of a person during the final stages of life. Thank you, I’ve learnt so much to take back to the workplace.

I hadn’t expected it to be delivered in such a relaxed and non-clinical atmosphere. WOW! It felt easy to take the information in and be more attentive to the knowledge and wisdom being shared. This is because it was not medicalised. Thank you.

Very gentle and nurturing course – very thoughtfully put together with such a valuable focus on normalising death and dying process and how to meet the emotional and spiritual needs of others! Its opened my eyes (and my heart)
I’ve been on quite a few end of life courses – but they have all been clinical. So to have this holistic approach has been really beneficial I will now be more present and grounded and focus in the here and now which will benefit those I care for.
Such a thought provoking day. This day has given me a space to slow down and to reflect – personally or professionally. I cant believe how much we have learnt in such a short space of time. Today has been so lovely, thank you.
I feel empowered to focus on the person and not just the medical aspect of end of life care. I feel confident now to be a better advocate for a person and their emotional and spiritual needs. I have grown in awareness of how we need to join the dots to make better outcomes for people.
As well as giving us tools to support the people we work with, it was as much about looking after our own well being. This was amazing and so well appreciated. Thank you!
A superbly interesting and informative course. I had no idea what to expect. The course was very well presented and it was engaging and enjoyable and taught by experienced and passionate facilitators. They were so enthusiastic and involved. A superb day of learning!
I really appreciated the time taken to make the content really interesting, relevant and effective. Im so glad it wasn’t death by powerpoint! Quite the opposite. The facilitators were excellent, caring compassionate and extremely engaging and knowledgeable.
