Embracing Nature for the July Companionship Café

In July, the Companionship Cafe team members had the uplifting experience of harvesting seasonal foliage in order to create beautiful grief wreaths at the grief cafe for all our friends....

We visited a local flower farm (Rosevalley nr. Mabe) run by a dear friend, Sarah – where visitors can pick their own flowers or request bespoke bouquets for special occasions.

As we wandered through the vibrant fields, we gathered an array of colours and scents, immersing ourselves in this truly sensory experience. Foraging for foliage allowed us to reflect on the lives of those we have lost – each piece collected was chosen with intention to create wreaths that would honour the unique journeys of our loved ones while nurturing our hearts in the process.
