No One Dies Alone Cornwall

A Heartfelt Acknowledgment of the Dying Matters Event at Hospital

April 2025; an excellent day of learning and connection and the warmest of welcomes. So grateful to be part of this annual event....

We wish to extend our sincere gratitude and appreciation for the invitation to speak at the Dying Matters event held at Treliske hospital in April 2025. The discussions that took place were far-reaching, and the speakers truly engaged the audience, making the day a meaningful and uplifting experience for everyone involved. It was inspiring to witness the passion and diversity of all who attended, united by a shared commitment to supporting others in living and dying well.

A special thank you goes to Christina Attiwell RN for her contribution as she spoke alongside Anna representing No One Dies Alone Cornwall, highlighting the importance of fostering a culture of care and compassion within our community. Her insights resonate deeply with our mission to ensure that no one has to face end-of-life experiences alone.

During this event, representatives from Hospice Care Cornwall, NHS, and various organizations came together with a shared goal: to change the way we think and talk about death and dying. By collaborating and exchanging ideas, we are collectively working to enhance our services across the county and raise awareness about the invaluable work being done in this vital area.

Together, we can continue to make strides in ensuring that everyone receives the dignity and respect they deserve as they navigate their final journeys. Oncer again, thank you for the invitation to contribute to this meaningful dialogue.
