Claire Winterton Pottery

A workshop with Claire Winterton Pottery was a great reminder of the therapeutic nature of clay. In particular handbuilding techniques and using the pottery wheel with earthenware clay.
NODAC - Companionship Cafe

This inspirational visit set the cogs in motion for bringing therapeutic and creative workshops to end of life care workshops in and around Cornwall (as part of the funding proposal from the National Lottery Community Fund).

Anna noticed how working with clay, transformed feelings of wobbly, lightheaded and ungroundedness to balance and refocus.

Situations that are out of our control in life may leave an imprint on us that can lead to the feeling of loss, grief and despair.

Its remarkable how clay lends itself to reshaping our relationship to situations that are out of our control by gently bringing the mind into connection with the present moment and the body into connection with the Earth.
